In-depth Case Study
Time was of the essence on this project and so Enlighten worked quickly in partnership with all relevant heritage bodies to develop a scheme that would be appropriate, easy to install and maintain and also compliant such that it could be installed within a short timeframe.
On site mock ups were key to this process, whereby working samples were ordered and evening trials were done, with the National Trust and English heritage in attendance so that all parties could see in advance the proposed lit effect. The samples were set up in place using IP rated extension cables and in this way the proposed lighting could be assessed and revised where necessary prior to final specification.
A mixture of LED and metal halide luminaires were used to highlight the natural colours of the stone and give a refined feel.
