Design Development

Determining how your vision will be brought to reality.

Being independent of manufacturers or contractors, allows us to offer the best products and solutions within the parameters set. At this stage we add detail to how the concept becomes a reality.

This stage is important as it gives everyone a chance to review products, costs, switching arrangements and mounting locations before a final specification is drafted.

This stage involves:

  • Preparation of preliminary lighting layouts and switching diagram.
  • Development of the switching arrangement and proposal for lighting controls.
  • Revising visualisations.
  • Checking of typical lighting calculations.
  • Provision of approximate equipment report.
  • Provision of approximate cost-in-use report.
  • The ordering of sample light fittings
  • Undertaking lighting demonstrations in situ.
  • Photographs of the mock up being taken for reference purposes.
  • Provision of a report which details all of the above.
